Thoth Adan

Thoth Adan, a Swiss-born artist based in Austria, earned a BFA (Hons) in Communication Design from Art Center College Design in 1994. Initially focusing on photorealistic portraiture, he juggled roles as a designer, art director, teacher, and artist. Transitioning in 2013, he embraced minimal aesthetics and Asian philosophies, drawing from Eastern art, abstract expressionism, and graphic design. He now prefers using Japanese Sumi ink and mineral pigments on Washi paper.
